Effective April 1, 2025, Spruce will return to a paid membership service. This change is necessary due to decreasing insurance reimbursement rates coupled with increasing administration costs. A free messaging app is available for those who want to continue messaging Dr. Henley, but do not want to continue with Spruce. This app is called Healow. You can download the Healow app here.

The Spruce membership is paid monthly. It is $50 for one child and $75 for multiple children in the same household. The membership includes unlimited messaging directly with Dr. Henley including video consultations if needed. You may cancel at any time. Members may conduct any visit via Spruce including sick visits, well checks, and follow-ups. Due to the inherent limitations of telemedicine, it is recommended to see Dr. Henley once per year for physical exam. There may also be certain conditions where an in-person visit is in the best interest of the patient. If this is the case, a discount will be given at the time of the visit.
